The twin-roll sand making machine is designed to crush suitable medium- to low-hardness ores and rocks for sand making, mineral processing and building-material applications. Two counter-rotating rollers draw material into the crushing gap and reduce it to a smaller particle size. The appropriate model depends on the feed material, feed size and required output.
The roller sand making machine is mainly composed of roller wheels, frame parts, clamping and adjusting devices, and transmission devices. The driving device consists of two electric motors, which are transmitted to the pulley through a V-belt to drive the two wheels to rotate relative to each other and crush the material.
Material enters the gap between two counter-rotating rollers, where it is compressed and sheared. Particles small enough to pass through the set gap discharge below the rollers. The roller gap can be adjusted to suit the required output size within the machine’s operating range.
